The Polaroid EP is the debut release from NJ native Matt Sztyk. In 2010 Sztyk started writing a batch of new songs while hitting the stages of favorite hangs in Jersey with friends and family. His words quickly resonated with local audiences, and he began to shape the songs that would inspire his first solo effort, the Polaroid EP. This collection of songs offer a glimpse of what is to come from this young artist and an introduction to his incredible story in motion.
Paralleled to the blue-collar sound of Springsteen with the hopeful tinges of Ben Kweller and Pete Yorn, Sztyk’s songs are relatable and honest—and will no doubt have you singing along.
Matt Sztyk currently resides in Sydney Australia. A ten-thousand-mile journey from the garden state proved to be a progressive step in his self-discovery as an artist—a step that listeners agree is taking his music to that elusive next level.
